United Way of Blair County has many partners in it mission to building a better Blair County. Important partners include the businesses and community members that participate in the annual campaign and our volunteer efforts, along with the following organizations:
Impact Grant Partners - Each year United Way of Blair County awards proceeds from its Annual Campaign through a competitive grant process to support programs that are operated by 501 (c) (3) organizations that make a positive impact on the lives of Blair County residents in the areas of HEALTH, EDUCATION, INCOME and meeting EMERGENCY NEEDS.
Central Region 2-1-1 - 2-1-1 is a FREE, accessible, 3-digit telephone number available that provides all residents with easy access to customized health, housing and human services information in one place.
Blair County Department of Social Services - The Blair County Department of Social Services is an administrative branch of the County Commissioners. This office arranges, by contract, to ensure that persons with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and other human service needs have the opportunity to exercise choice and control in their lives and the responsibility to use their strengths and abilities to contribute to their family and community.
Healthy Blair County Coalition - The mission of the Healthy Blair County Coalition is to assess community needs and hopefully impact all aspects of a healthy Blair County by sharing resources, engaging local partnerships, and implementing strategies and programs that will make a difference in the lives of residents and the community itself.
