Live United
The United Way of Blair County invites you to LIVE UNITED by joining the effort to help our neighbors in need this year. Our nation has been hard hit by these tough economic times and those effects are evident right here in our own back yard. If ever there were a time to spring into action it is now.“
"LIVE UNITED is a call for each of us to reach out a hand to one, subsequently improving the conditions of us all and everyone has the power to make a difference by giving, advocating and volunteering," said United Way CPO Robin Beck.
This year's Campaign Co-Chairs Jackie Bernard and Mitch Cooper are ready and able to meet the challenge of accomplishing this year’s goal of $1,000,000. Reaching this ambitious goal will ensure that our neighbors and friends who will depend on local agencies to survive will get the help they need.
"It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter, better tomorrow. I want to be a part of that unified effort to make a meaningful difference that's why I am 'living united'," said United Way Campaign Co-Chair Jackie Bernard.
This is the time to give, advocate or volunteer as anything you do will help
"The twenty-nine years I spent as a police officer in Blair County gave me the opportunity to witness first hand the fine work performed by many Blair County agencies. The aid provided by the agencies to those in need would certainly have been more difficult, if not impossible without the financial support of the United Way of Blair County, through the many generous donations made by members of our community. You cannot underestimate the positive impact you have on our fine community here in Blair County through your continuing support of the United Way Campaign," said United Way Campaign Co-Chair Mitch Cooper.
